boys, I get super-excited about the prospect of making girlie things... pinks... swirly fonts... polka dots... glitter... ribbons... bows... the thought of it all just makes me so giddy. One of my best mommy friends just gave birth to her THIRD baby girl (I wonder if she gets as giddy about boy stuff as I do about girl stuff... hmm... probably not).

Erin has decorated her girls' room with adorable ladybugs. She has matching curtains, wall decals, bedding... even a matching trash can from the Kids Line collection at
Babies R Us. How do you make a store-bought nursery special and unique?
CUSTOMIZATION: She sent me close up pictures of her favorite part, the ladybugs, for me to recreate for personalized wall art. This way, I can paint the wall mounts to match her existing decor and add names, initials, and other personal touches to a room.
Wait, did I mention that she just had baby girl #3? Oh yes! So, I stole back Harper's name plaque and flower hook so I could make sure to get Aviley's juuuuust right!
There... much better!
