Who Dat Jerseys

The thing I love best about Kidspired Creations is that it's ALWAYS something new.

There are no limits to creating kidspired decor and no two creations are the same!

And even better, I love CHALLENGES!  

Something different from painting stripes and polka dots.

But when my friend sent me this email...

I wanted two saints jerseys with a personalized name. But the company will only do one. Could u paint something similar with two jerseys with a personalized name?

I kind of doubted my abilities.

However, this is KIDspired Creations and 

I got her permission to use some kidspiration to make this painting...

Did I mention this is a teacher appreciation gift???

Now those are two very special teachers!!!

This customer had the great idea to put the numbers 20 and 12 on the teacher's jerseys to represent the year

(and of course it had to have the school's name on the bottom).

I love using multiple brains to put a project together!

Cheap Wall Decor for Boys

It is super hard to find cute wall decor for boys, however, Hobby Lobby sells a car and a train white wall hanging that is super easy to paint on with acrylics.  Most often, you can find them on the clearance aisle in the back, but if not, they are located in the unfinished wood section and with a 40% off coupon found on their website, it's only a few dollars!  Add some tires, and some windows, maybe some fenders, rims, bumpers, door handle and voila!  A car to hang in a little boy's room!

Swamp Nursery: DONE!

Wahoo!  Baby Easton is due to arrive in less than 5 weeks and Mommy and Daddy have been busy nesting... and I got to help!!!  I only had to hear two things before my mind spazzed into design mode:  "It's a boy!"  and "Swamp theme!"  YES!  I have been so excited about this nursery, and you could probably tell because I started blogging about it a while ago in my post, Swamp Baby. 

Well, guess what, folks?  IT'S DONE!  Easton's baby shower was last weekend, so I got to take the final photos of the completed nursery (before all of the loot from the shower made it's way into the room).  Drum roll, please...

DURING THE TRANSFORMATION:

Mommy Meryn was a huge help holding paint cans and bringing me food and drink so I could paint the day away.

KIDSPIRED'S CREATION:

The framed paintings were Easton's shower gift from me.

I'm in love with the huge stuffed gator, Al, in the corner of the room.

The animals in the room, per Daddy Trevis' request.  He was especially excited about the pelican.

Fairies Only!

I found this adorable, unfinished "Fairy Door" at Hobby Lobby and I just had to get it for my niece's Enchanted Nursery!  I added some paint to make it match Abby's room:

I then decided to add some moss so that it matches her wall letters:

Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall

This wall mirror is for sale for $35 if you live in the South Louisiana or Central Oklahoma area.

I am afraid to ship the mirror, so unfortunately it has to be within delivery/pick-up distance.
